Julian Traverse is an amplifier technician with over 15 years of experience specializing in the repair and restoration of analogue vacuum tube and discrete transistor amplifiers.

As the former founder of Traverse Analogue, he designed and manufactured professional audio equipment in Canada. That experience continues to influence his approach to fault diagnosis, repair, and restoration. 

Today, Julian focuses on instrument, hi-fi, and professional audio amplifiers. Every amplifier is approached with a careful, methodical process that emphasizes accurate fault diagnosis, quality workmanship, and preserving its performance, reliability, and character.
